About Crabtree
Crabtree Boat Club is a community of high-level rowers, comprising mostly of CUBC alumni and other international and elite club rowers. Our focus is on masters rowing, and we have a strong base of younger members who have recently graduated from Cambridge and are continuing their rowing careers.
At Crabtree Boat Club, we compete in top British masters competitions and have achieved a high level of success, particularly at events like the Vets Head and Henley Masters Regatta. We have also had several wins at the Head of the Charles in recent years. Our typical training schedule includes early weekday outings, as well as outings on weekends and land training. Our crew compositions may vary based on availability, but they will solidify in the lead-up to major events.
In addition to competing locally, Crabtree Boat Club also has the opportunity to race overseas as “Cambridge University Alumni,” thanks to a formal arrangement with CUBC. This allows us to represent our alma mater on an international stage when the current CUBC squad is unable to respond to invitations.
Our club constitution and rules, as well as a list of current members, can be found in our club.
